Week of bad luck
It's been hell of a 2 weeks. First there was that toilet incident and then now, I've sprained my back, caught a viral flu and have a bloody pimple growing in my ear. Talk about suay (bad luck)... *sigh*
I'm better now after countless doses of pain killers and muscle relaxant provided by the good doctor. I've been floating and a little loopy the whole day today when I went back to work. But I'm so damn miserable - not being able to sleep properly because of my aching back as well as the itch at the back of my throat and coughing non-stop the whole night.
Y'know, all I did was bend over to get something and I felt my muscle protest and then give, and a sharp pain shot up from my lower back. The heavy stuff wasn't even in my hands when it happened. It was painful enough for me to be confined to the bed for 3 days and not being able to dress myself with dignity. It's gonna be a month before I can attempt any heavy lifting.
There goes my Redang diving trip.
*Blech*

I flushed my tag down the toilet bowl
HOLEYKAMOLEY! I accidentally flushed my security tag down the toilet bowl!!! I had just pressed the flush button when I dropped my tag. Since the lanyard was wrapped tightly around the card, my hasty swipe missed it by inches and before I could stick my hand down the churning water, the tag was sucked in and gone! It was a clean flush...
Had to fork out RM30 for a new tag. Now that's money down the drain... I'm actually more mortified and embarassed by the way I lost it than anything else, but for some reason, I can't stop laughing about it.

Omigosh... I just had a thought. I sincerely hope that the tag didn't get stuck somewhere in the pipe. Coz if the toilet overflows, the building's management will have to call the plumber and....*crap*... my name and company details is on that tag... @_@

Kimberley's pregnant
Here's a picture of Kim, probably one of the nicest friend a person could have. She's due this early May. You can check out her blog and more pregnant pictures at Team Pearman. She's staying in Rockingham at the moment. Very nice place with dolphin sightings, clean and sandy beaches with clear enough water. Not bad eh?
On a more sombre thought, we were supposed to visit Kim this May but had to cancel it as doctors found a tumour in my mom's leg. It's gotten so bad that she can't walk comfortably as it pains her. As if that's not bad enough, the tumour is pressing on a vein and now even bending down to wear clothes is painful. She's done a MRI but she's still waiting for the doctor to conclude if it's benign or malignant. She was suppose to have it taken out this coming 22nd April, but the hospital erred and forgot to schedule my mom's appointment into the system. So now she has to wait again. That's Malaysian government hospital for you. Idiots.
Whoever is reading this post, I humbly ask that you add my mom into your prayers at night. Thank you.

Clive Owen should be the next James Bond
Found this picture of Clive Owen on the net. Look at the steely green gaze... This is from one of his BMW commercial series. Have been a fan since seeing him in Bourne Identity and then in King Arthur. Last night I watched Children of Men and boy what a bleak future. I like Inside Man better though... and there's not enough of him in Sin City. He will also be in Sin City 2 which is in post-production now, as well as Elizabeth I in which he plays Sir Walter Raleigh.
Truly gorgeous men are indeed hard to find and keep.

Working in JB this weekend
Will be heading down south this weekend for work. My boss was supposed to go but he came down with something nasty - infection or something. Anyway, it's gonna be a looong weekend. Hopefully I might have time to go across to the other island and meet up with a friend.
